Introduction

EC Pulmonology and Respiratory Medicine (ECPRM) is an internationally peer reviewed journal that desires to publish articles on all aspects of diagnosis, management and prevention of pulmonary and associated disorders. The journal aims to publish clinical and experimental work on all the topics related to respiratory care and medicine. The main motto of ECPRM is to bring latest developments and current research in pulmonology into light by publishing quality and original articles. We deal with all aspects of respiratory diseases and therapeutic interventions.

The respiratory system is vital to the whole functioning of the body. Pulmonology deals with all the diseases related to respiratory tract. Pulmonology is synonymous with pneumology, respirology and respiratory medicine. Today, both clinical and basic research of the respiratory system ranging from the anatomy of respiratory epithelium to the most effective treatment of pulmonary hypertension has become most essential. Scientific research is also taking place to look for causes and possible treatment in diseases such as pulmonary tuberculosis and lung cancer. Advancements in the field of Pulmonary Research play a major role in building a safe and healthy society.
