Breastfeeding is an essential practice for both the baby's and the mother's health, providing numerous physiological and emotional benefits. However, several factors can compromise breastfeeding success, including improper latching, suction, and baby positioning techniques. In this context, the LATCH scale emerges as a valuable tool for nurses in the hospital environment, aiding in the assessment and improvement of the breastfeeding process.
