Brugada syndrome (BrS) is an inherit channelopathy presenting with a characteristic electrocardiogram (ECG) and a tendency to develop malignant polymorphic ventricular arrhythmias that may lead to syncope or sudden cardiac death (SCD). Fever has been reported not only to accentuate the BrS ECG pattern but also to actually trigger ventricular arrhythmias. Fever, both after immunization or as a response to infection is very common in children, and is well known to associated with febrile seizures. We report a case of an asymptomatic child with dynamic electrocardiographic changes, a type 1 BrS pattern ECG, induced by fever.
