The human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) was detected in children for the first time in 1982, since then the infection has expanded and is now a major cause of death in the pediatric group.

Kaposi’s sarcoma (KS) is the most common neoplasm in patients with HIV. It manifests with spots and nodules scattered predominantly in the lower limbs and thorax. It can extend to the gastrointestinal tract, ganglia, ocular conjunctiva lung, liver and spleen.

In this article we will focus on the description of the spread of Kaposi’s sarcoma in a 17-year-old male adolescent patient, its systemic complications, the worsening of the general state and its death.
