Background: Childhood obesity is a growing global concern, increasing the risk of metabolic, cardiovascular, and psychosocial complications. Early detection and intervention are crucial to prevent long-term consequences.

Case Presentation: A 9-year-old boy presented with progressive weight gain, fatigue, and reduced physical activity. Clinical evaluation revealed a BMI above the 97th percentile, elevated fasting insulin, and dyslipidemia. Lifestyle assessment identified excessive caloric intake and sedentary behavior. A multidisciplinary intervention-including dietary counseling, structured physical activity, and behavioral support-was implemented. After six months, the patient demonstrated improved BMI percentile, metabolic parameters, and physical activity levels.

Discussion: This case illustrates the multifactorial nature of childhood obesity, involving behavioral, environmental, and physiological factors. Early, family-centered interventions are essential for reversing obesity and preventing long-term health risks.

Conclusion: Effective management of childhood obesity requires a comprehensive approach with lifestyle modification, parental involvement, and regular monitoring of growth and metabolic health.
