Earlier we have reviewed the epigenetics modifications in obesity might impact the offsprings as well as the manner it might be reverted by folvite supplementation in the antenatal period in addition to their role in generation of placenta and preeclampsia. Here we further highlight the part of sperm epigenetics performed in Utah as well as Minnesota, in United States in reference to relationship amongst socioeconomic status (SES), patients literacy status as well as DNA methylation designs of the sperm. Their observations pointed to a biologic association amongst income as well as education level in sperm epigenetic, that might impact reproductive health. The increase in unstable promoters in the lesser education cohorts might aid in exposition of discrepancy in health correlated with educational status; nevertheless, it is significant to take into account lifestyle factors in addition to environmental exposures in the form of plausible etiological factor findings behind these. Further research is needed to fully illustrate the repercussions of such epigenetic alterations in addition to their association to repair differentially methylated areas, nonetheless, it offers opportunities to gain insights along with its therapeutic implications in patients with poor semen parameters, belonging to lower SES, who are illiterate, where unstable promoters possessing the capacity of changing gene expression were observed in intervening as reviewed by us using agents obtained from plant products etc. in obese subjects.
