Threadlike and Motley-Sclerosing Polycystic Adenoma

Sclerosing polycystic adenoma is an exceptionally discerned neoplasm arising from salivary glands. Initially scripted in 1996, aforesaid lesion is postulated to emerge as a neoplastic lesion. Additionally designated as sclerosing polycystic adenosis, sclerosing adenosis, polycystic adenosis or sclerosing polycystic sialadenopathy, neoplasm recapitulates morphological alterations of fibrocystic change or sclerosing adenosis of mammary glands. Tumefaction is comprised of irregular dissemination of ducts and acini layered by dual epithelium and encompassed within a sclerotic stroma.
