Clinical features of type I dentin dysplasia can be characterized by a defect in dentin formation with normal anatomy of permanent teeth but with or without proper root formation or with only rudimentary root formation. Treatment becomes challenging for the oral physicians/dentists when there is an early exfoliation of all the teeth and underdevelopment of maxillary and mandibular jaws.
